Oregon Health Plan shows improvements

Oregon’s experiment with Coordinated Care Organization overseeing the Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) has paid off. In its report card of health care quality in 2013, the Oregon Health Authority reported improvements in a majority of the quality measures it monitors.

Columbia Pacific Coordinated Care Organization was among the CCOs to receive 100 percent of the financial incentives for achieving those improvements, as reported by the Oregon News Service’s Chris Thomas.
